About RoofingInvoice.com

Built from 10 years working directly with roofing contractors across the U.S.

RoofingInvoice.com came out of 10 years working directly with roofing contractors across the U.S. โ€” helping them get leads, running their SEO, and building out the automations that keep a roofing business running day to day.

Invoicing kept coming up as a problem we heard from contractor after contractor.

Why We Built This

Over and over, roofing contractors told us the same thing: they were spending far too much time and money just designing and sending invoices to their customers. Not the roofing work itself โ€” the paperwork after it. Formatting a document, remembering what to include, redoing it for every job, sometimes paying for software that still didn't have the fields a roofing job actually needs.

That's a strange amount of friction for something that should take a few minutes. So after a decade of working inside roofing businesses, we built a customized roofing invoice generator specifically to automate it โ€” not a general invoice tool with "roofing" added to the name, but one built around how roofing jobs actually get billed: by roof type, by square, by material, by insurance claim.

What This Tool Does

You fill in your contractor details once, then build each invoice around the job: roof type, pitch, size in squares, materials, labor, equipment, and โ€” when it applies โ€” insurance claim documentation with before and after photos. We calculate your subtotal, tax, deposit, and balance due automatically. You export the finished invoice as a PDF, Word file, or Excel spreadsheet, print it, or send a share link.

No templates to hunt for. No spreadsheet formulas to fix. No missing fields to remember.

Who It's For

Independent roofing contractors, small crews, and roofing companies who'd rather spend their time on the roof than formatting a document afterward. Whether you're billing a single repair, a full replacement, or a storm damage claim, the fields adjust to the job.

What We Believe

Free means free. No account, no credit card, no invoice limit hiding behind a paywall.
Your data stays yours. Contractor profiles and draft invoices save locally in your browser. We don't store your invoice data on our servers.
Built from the field, not guessed at. Every field exists because a real roofing job needed it โ€” this came out of a decade of hearing what actually slowed contractors down, not a generic invoice template.

What's Next

We're building out the rest of the job โ€” starting with our Wicomico County roof replacement estimate tool, so you can quote a job and invoice it later using the same job details, without re-entering everything from scratch. More roofing contractor guides and tutorials are on the way as well.

Get in Touch

Run into a field that's missing, a job type we don't support yet, or something that just doesn't work right? Let us know โ€” this tool gets better because contractors tell us what they actually need on a job site, not because we guessed.
